About the choreography enfant by Boris Charmatz
“Following the principle of cut editing, and in the image of childlike energy, this documentary film offers a fragmented look at the work of child dancers in the piece enfant. This show, choreographed by Boris Charmatz, was created for the Cour d’Honneur at the Palais des Papes at the Festival d’Avignon in 2011. Shot during performances in Lisbon and Paris in 2011, the film portrays children aged 6 to 12 during their warm-ups, rehearsals, and performances.”
