Canadian born, Taylor Drury began her professional training at The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and later completed her BFA in Dance at The Juilliard School. Following her training, she joined the cast of Punchdrunk’s award-winning immersive production Sleep No More in New York City. During this time, she worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer, collaborating with dance colleagues and filmmakers, and premiering her first full-length work, No Milk, at the Irondale Theater in Brooklyn, New York.
Drury moved to Germany in 2018 and soon after joined the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz for their 2019/2020 season in Munich. She has had the pleasure of performing works by Aszure Barton, Alan Lucien Øyen, Pina Bausch, William Forsythe and Nacho Duato.
She has been a member of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch since the beginning of the 2020/2021 season.
