Edd Arnold

was born in Bristol, where his journey in dance began with B-boying and evolved through formal training at the Centre for Advanced Training at Swindon Dance, National Youth Dance Company and Rambert School. After graduating in 2017, Edd joined Balletboyz, performing works by Russell Maliphant, Javier de Frutos, Ivan Perez, Craig Revel Horwood, Liam Scarlett, Christopher Wheeldon and Pontus Lidberg. From 2019 to 2023, Edd was a key member of Russell Maliphant Dance Company, contributing to the creation and international tours of Silent Lines and Vortex. He has also collaborated with notable choreographers such as Thick & Tight Dance, Jose Agudo, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Tj Lowe, Pascal Merighi, and Richard Chappell Dance. Since 2017, Edd has been an active choreographer. His live works include City Petals and Tulips, both performed at Sadler’s Wells’ Lillian Baylis Theatre. He also directed and choreographed the dance film By The Sea in collaboration with musician Anna Phoebe. Co-produced by Balletboyz and premiered by Nowness for Earth Day 2023, the film won multiple awards, including Best Dance Film at the Global Short Film Awards in Cannes. Most recently, Edd was commissioned by Balletboyz for their production England On Fire, which premiered at Sadler’s Wells in November 2023.

Edd is thrilled to join the  Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch Ensemble from 2025 on.
